Welcome to my Blog!

I'm sure you have as many things about our country and government that you'd like to get off your chest as I do. Well, that is what this blog is for! Sound-off on laws, the people that govern us like Congress, the economy, Credit card issues, banks, jobs, etc. Please be courteous. I will try my best to respect your view even if you don't agree with mine. Please do the same for me.
Thank you.

National Day of Prayer is Unconstitutional

As if our world doesn't have enough chaos, once again prayer has been dumped on. A lawsuit was filed by the Freedom from Religion Foundation and a Madison-based group of atheists and agnostics filed against President George W. Bush's administration near the end of his second term. U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb has now ruled it unconstitutional. The American Family Association (AFA) is sponsoring a National Day of Prayer and asking supporters to meet at town City Halls on May 6, 2010 at 12:20 p.m. for twenty minutes of prayer. The National Day of prayer was officially set by President Harry S. Truman in 1952 and in 1988 the first Thursday in the month of May was set as an official time.

It is time for Christians to take a stand. Let's show up and show them! Prayer changes things!
